Job Summary

Owns cross-org alignment for startup marketing across AWS, guiding messaging, GTM motions, and executive engagement.

  • Lead interlock among AWS Startup Marketing, Partner, and WWSO to ensure consistent startup messaging.
  • Shape scalable go-to-market programs and partner-driven ABM to accelerate startups from idea to scale.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary interface aligning AWS Startup Marketing, Partner, and WWSO teams around a shared, consistent startup message across the entire customer journey from idea to enterprise scale.
  • Define and steward the shared messaging framework and interlock mechanisms that keep the three orgs aligned as strategy evolves, ensuring smooth handoffs so customers engage with the right team at the right time.
  • Design go-to-market motions and maturity models that identify and accelerate high-potential startups through targeted marketing programs, including with- and through-partner ABM motions.
  • Build scalable marketing frameworks that help startups succeed across the partner journey, from early engagement through enterprise scale.
  • Influence and activate senior leaders and ecosystem players (VCs, accelerators, ISVs) across Marketing, Partner, and WWSO to drive alignment, resolve ownership ambiguity, and represent Startup Marketing in cross-org GTM forums.

Requirements

  • Experience influencing senior leaders/stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or equivalent, or Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of professional non-internship marketing, partner, or GTM strategy experience
  • Experience defining and driving cross-functional strategy across marketing, partner, and sales/specialist organizations
  • Experience designing operating mechanisms and interlock models that coordinate multiple large organizations
  • Experience using data and insights to shape strategy and communicate recommendations to leadership

Preferred

  • Experience with AWS technologies
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders at various levels and in different locales to drive alignment
  • Deep familiarity with the startup ecosystem, partner motions (VCs, accelerators, ISVs), and how specialist/GTM organizations operate.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a recognized subject-matter expert and trusted advisor to senior leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of high-judgment executive narratives and thriving amid ambiguity in fast-paced, global environments.
