Job Summary

Own the admissions and marketing funnel for a Montessori preschool, guiding families from first inquiry through enrollment and retention while coordinating events, communications, and vendor-facing operations.

  • Manages inquiries, tours, and enrollment records
  • Drives re-enrollment and family experience improvements

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inquiries from different marketing channels the same business day
  • Schedule and lead campus tours; follow up until a family enrolls or opts out
  • Track every lead, tour, and enrollment in a simple pipeline, and report weekly
  • Feed our advertising partner what's working and flag lead-quality issues
  • Manage enrollment paperwork from application through first day
  • Coordinate open houses, community events, and parent referral outreach
  • Own the parent experience from first tour through re-enrollment: retention matters as much as recruitment
  • Run onboarding for new families so the first month feels seamless
  • Keep communication consistent: newsletters, updates, event reminders, responsive answers
  • Check in with families proactively; surface concerns to leadership before they become withdrawals

Requirements

  • 2+ years in admissions, sales, marketing, front-office administration, or customer-facing coordination
  • Proactive, with strong follow-through and problem solving skills: you don't let an inquiry or an issue sit unresolved for days
  • Excellent written communication; you write emails parents want to answer
  • Comfortable with social media and simple website edits
  • Organized enough to keep records audit-ready and vendors on schedule
  • Warm and credible with parents, in person and on the phone
  • Must clear a Florida Level 2 background screening

Preferred

  • Preferred: experience in a school, preschool, or childcare setting; familiarity with Montessori, Google Business Profile, email tools, or a CRM; bilingual English/Spanish; knowledge of Florida DCF licensing or VPK administration.
