Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting and editing press releases, media lists, and PR materials.
  • Support media relations through journalist research, media list development, coverage tracking, and drafting/sending media pitches (i.e., media relations).
  • Draft and edit website blog articles and LinkedIn articles for clients and the agency.
  • Monitor media coverage and compile earned media analytics reports.
  • Develop and schedule social media content supporting both agency marketing initiatives and one client program.
  • Assist with the creation and deploy of email marketing campaigns and marketing events and promotions (if needed).

Requirements

  • Experience Required : 1+ PR agency internship(s)
  • At least one prior marketing, PR, or communications agency internship.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail.
  • Personal organization skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities/projects.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills.
  • Curiosity and interest in media, journalism, communications trends, and technology.
  • Self-directed and proactive approach while in a remote team environment.
  • Familiarity with applications/software like Canva, WordPress, Asana, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools is a plus.
  • Interest or experience using AI tools to support research, analytics, or content workflows ethically is encouraged.
