Job Overview

I am seeking an energetic and strategic Political Director to lead the campaign to victory through election day , and continue with running affairs and legislative initiatives and constitute services. In this pivotal role, you will develop and execute comprehensive political strategies, supervise canvassers, coordinate events, promote events and supervise YouTube, Website and social media managers.

Duties

• Build and sustain coalitions with community organizations, industry groups, and advocacy partners to amplify our impact.
• Manage media relations by crafting press releases, coordinating interviews, and overseeing social media campaigns to communicate key messages effectively.
• Conduct policy research and analysis on legislative issues relevant to our mission; prepare reports, briefs, and testimony for policymakers.
• Oversee public speaking engagements, stakeholder meetings, and community events to raise awareness and foster support for our initiatives.
• Supervise a team of policy analysts, communication specialists, and grassroots organizers to ensure cohesive strategy execution

Requirements

• Proven experience with running a campaign for election is required.
• Strong media relations skills with a track record of managing press campaigns and social media outreach.
• Excellent negotiation and public speaking abilities to represent the organization confidently in high-stakes settings.
• Demonstrated expertise in coalition building, stakeholder engagement, grassroots organizing, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messaging through writing press releases, reports, and speeches.
• Ability to manage multiple projects strategically while leading a team effectively; proficiency in budgeting and strategic planning is preferred.
