Job Description

Support in-store plant merchandising and care across Costco locations, ensuring fresh displays and timely product availability.

  • Own daily merchandising tasks, including checking-in with store managers and organizing plant displays.
  • Must-have: Proficiency with a smartphone with GPS to upload photos and reports.
  • Standout: Ability to lift 20+ pounds and work across multiple stores.

Responsibilities

  • Check-in with the store manager upon arrival and communicate any needs
  • Locate client plant displays and confirm which products are available that day (using our designated company app on your mobile device)
  • Check plants for watering needs, move plant racks to the designated area for watering, and dispose of unhealthy plants
  • Use the watering backpack provided by the store team
  • Condense plants on racks to keep them full for business hours ensuring oldest looks good & is first choice on display
  • Take pictures of products placed (using our designated company app on your mobile device)
  • Move empty racks to the holding area behind the store

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Previous merchandising, customer service, and/or retail experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to collaborate and interact with and in-store personnel
  • Must be proficient using your personal Android or Apple device (Smartphone/Tablet) with GPS functionality to upload photos, report assignment data, and reference documents
  • Able to complete paid online training courses in the required timeline before working in-store
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Regularly stand, walk, bend over, reach overhead, crouch, kneel, balance, grasp, push or pull, talk and/or hear, and drive
  • Regularly lift and carry 20+ pounds
  • Non-slip rubber soled shoes will be needed and required as you will be watering plants
