Job Summary

Own the end-to-end social content cycle for a Tulsa construction audience, from site visits and photos to captions and posting, with evolving brand voice and on-site storytelling that moves homeowners and contractors to engage.

  • Content Creation: shoot photos and short videos on active jobsites and turn details into homeowner-friendly posts.
  • Publishing & Coordination: plan, draft, and schedule posts for Facebook and Instagram and align with leadership on calendar and approval.
  • Iteration & Compliance: learn the brand voice, revise content per feedback, and potentially handle basic community replies after ramping up.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Create 2–3 Facebook and Instagram posts per week
  • Create occasional Reels using jobsite photos and short videos
  • Write clear, accurate captions in Allied Fence’s brand voice
  • Schedule approved posts
  • Help prepare a content calendar for review and approval
  • Track basic performance, such as reach, engagement, and content type
  • Visit active jobsites around the Tulsa area while crews are working
  • Capture clean, useful photos and short videos
  • Look for details that help tell the story of the project
  • Respect crews, customers, and active jobsite safety
Requirements
  • Strong interest in social media, content creation, marketing, photography, video, or writing
  • Ability to provide 2–3 samples of social media content, short-form video, photography, captions, blog writing, school projects, personal content, or portfolio work
  • Familiarity with appropriate content tools, or a proven ability to learn new software quickly
  • Comfortable using or learning tools such as Canva, CapCut, Instagram, Facebook, Meta Business Suite, or similar platforms
  • Strong writing ability with attention to spelling, grammar, clarity, and tone
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Ability to safely visit active jobsites
  • Ability to walk on uneven ground at residential and commercial jobsites
  • Comfortable taking photos and videos around construction crews and customers
  • Reliable schedule and follow-through
  • Willingness to receive feedback and revise content before posting
Nice to Have
  • Experience with marketing, photography, or video preferred
  • A portfolio or samples beyond the minimum
  • Potential to grow into broader marketing duties, increased hours, or future full-time work if the role proves valuable
