Job Description
Responsibilities
- Support Back Porch Communications clients in writing, editing, and internal, external and executive communications
- Develop visually engaging presentations, newsletters and other content for clients
- Shoot and edit short-form video content for client social media channels
- Create clear communications plans to achieve clients' goals
- Participate in and help lead client meetings and communications planning discussions
- Help develop communications strategies aligned with business priorities
- Provide messaging guidance and executive communications support
- Identify emerging issues or risks and escalate them to agency leadership
- Help ensure quality and consistency across client work
- Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, from kickoff through final delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in corporate communications or freelance corporate communications work
- Experience building and executing communications plans
- Experience managing projects; experience coordinating teams, contractors or freelancers is a plus
