Job Summary

Own recruitment scaling for diabetes community research across NA/Europe, building partner networks and scalable processes that reach people living with diabetes and sustain participant engagement.

  • Grow partnerships with patient advocates, clinics, charities, and referral networks to source participants.
  • Oversee multi-country recruitment across diverse diabetes populations with trackable channels and segments.
  • Build repeatable systems and reporting that link actions to outcomes and enable fast iteration.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute recruitment and retention initiatives across North America and Europe.
  • Build recruitment strategies for both existing and future markets.
  • Identify and develop new sources of participants, including patient organizations, healthcare providers, advocacy groups, community leaders, ambassadors, and referral programs.
  • Manage recruitment goals across multiple diabetes populations and countries.
  • Ensure that community members have a positive experience when participating in the community and in individual research projects.
  • Continuously evaluate performance and adjust tactics based on results.
  • A critical part of this role is building and managing networks of partners who can help dQ&A reach people living with diabetes in different regions and countries.
  • This may include: - Patient advocates and community leaders - Diabetes organizations and charities - Clinics and healthcare providers - Recruitment vendors - Country-specific ambassadors - Strategic referral partners
  • You will help create repeatable approaches that allow dQ&A to expand beyond its current markets without relying solely on traditional recruitment methods.
  • Build Sustainable Recruitment Systems - Create scalable processes that improve recruitment efficiency and participant engagement. - Track recruitment performance by country, channel, source, and participant segment. - Develop clear reporting that links actions to outcomes. - Test new approaches and continuously improve based on evidence.

Requirements

  • You may come from: - Patient recruitment or participant engagement - Healthcare research operations - Community growth or membership organizations - Partnership or affiliate management - Performance marketing with clear accountability for outcomes - Healthcare nonprofits, advocacy organizations, or associations
  • Highly self-motivated and comfortable owning outcomes
  • Able to manage multiple overlapping projects and relationships simultaneously
  • Analytical and comfortable making decisions from imperfect information
  • Resourceful, pragmatic, and action-oriented
  • Resilient when things dont work the first time
  • Comfortable building relationships across cultures and geographies
  • Empathetic and able to connect authentically with people living with diabetes

Preferred

  • Managing external partners, affiliates, and vendors
  • Launching or supporting growth initiatives in new markets.
  • Building repeatable partner-based recruitment programs.
  • Familiarity with healthcare, patient communities, clinical research, or chronic disease populations.
  • Working across multiple countries, regions, or cultures.
  • Personal or professional connections to the diabetes community are a plus.
  • Direct diabetes experience is not required. Curiosity, empathy, and a willingness to learn are.
