Paid Social Manager - W2 candidates only

Responsibilities

• Lead paid social strategy, planning, execution, and optimization across subscriber acquisition campaigns.
• Manage significant paid social media budgets across platforms including Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, and other emerging social channels, ensuring investments are aligned with acquisition goals and business priorities.
• Manage agency partners across the organization, establishing clear expectations, overseeing campaign execution, and ensuring agency work meets performance, operational, and strategic standards.
• Own the development and implementation of paid social best practices, campaign structures, optimization strategies, and operational processes across accounts.
• Develop and lead a robust experimentation and testing roadmap, including platform betas, campaign optimization tests, audience strategies, bidding approaches, creative testing, attribution, and measurement initiatives.
• Partner closely with Analytics and Measurement teams to design experiments, evaluate incrementality, interpret test results, and translate learnings into actionable media strategies.
• Analyze campaign and business performance, identify key trends and opportunities, and develop clear recommendations for optimizing investment and improving subscriber acquisition efficiency.
• Build strong relationships with key platform partners and identify opportunities to test emerging products, technologies, betas, and capabilities.
• Partner cross-functionally with Creative, Analytics, Product Marketing, Finance, Media Strategy, and other teams to develop integrated acquisition strategies and execute against broader business priorities.
• Develop and present paid social strategies, testing plans, performance results, and recommendations to internal stakeholders and senior leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in paid social, performance marketing, digital media, or a related field, with demonstrated experience managing sophisticated, large-scale campaigns.
• Demonstrated experience managing large media budgets and making strategic investment and optimization decisions based on performance and business objectives.
• Experience managing external media agencies or agency partners, including setting strategic direction and overseeing campaign execution.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of major paid social platforms, including Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, and emerging platforms.
• Strong experience with direct-response and performance marketing campaigns, preferably focused on subscriber acquisition, e-commerce, or another conversion-driven business.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing experimentation and measurement strategies, including A/B testing, incrementality testing, conversion lift studies, audience testing, attribution, and/or other performance measurement methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex performance data, identify actionable insights, and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
• Experience working with third-party campaign management and optimization platforms such as Smartly, Sprinklr, or similar tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting strategies, results, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously.

Preferred

• Experience within streaming, subscription, entertainment, technology, or another large-scale consumer business.
• Experience managing paid social campaigns across multiple brands, products, or lines of business.
• Experience working within a large matrixed organization and navigating multiple stakeholders and business priorities.
• Experience with advanced measurement methodologies such as conversion lift, incrementality testing, marketing mix modeling, attribution testing, or geo-based experimentation.
• Experience partnering directly with major social platforms on alpha/beta products and developing testing strategies around emerging advertising capabilities.
• Global or multi-market media experience.
