Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Ad buy prep. Work with the Senior Paid Media Manager to ensure that campaigns are ready for launch. This is detail-oriented, high-volume work where catching small errors before launch makes a big difference.
  • Ad buy execution. Traffic ads and tags to self-serve platforms (Facebook, Google Ads, The Trade Desk, CM360, etc.) expertly, efficiently, and accurately.
  • Reporting. Work with data and analytics staff to access data related to performance of live campaigns and develop program insights.
  • Collaboration and communication. Clearly communicate program updates to the Senior Paid Media Manager and the Paid Media Director.
  • Flexibility. Maintain a level of flexibility in the specific expectations of this job as the Priorities program takes clearer shape.

Requirements

  • At least 1 cycle or 1-2 years of experience working within a paid media planning and buying team OR experience on a campaign or with a political organization, focused on persuasion and mobilization oriented paid media programs is preferred.
  • Comfort working with numbers and data (Excel and Google Sheets); ability to look at a spreadsheet and identify trends or anomalies, or eagerness to develop that skill.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational/project management skills; ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problem solving skills and interpersonal skills; ability to respond to crises calmly and with poise.
  • A detailed and curious understanding of the media landscape, including the desire to stay up to date on changes to policies both in the broader media space and political space.
  • Demonstrates a proactive work style, anticipates what's coming up, works through obstacles independently, and isn't afraid to ask questions or raise new ideas.

Preferred

  • Knowledge and experience working in key self-serve advertising platforms (Facebook, Google Ads, Snapchat, etc.) and at least 1 DSP (The Trade Desk, DV360, etc.) Experience working with ad serving technology like CM360 is a plus.
