Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Promote the energy efficiency program by engaging in outreach activities including prospective customer/contractor lunch and learns, inbound prospective customer support, trade show presentations, tabling at conferences or community resource fairs, webinars, and cold calling.
  • Develop outreach plans in collaboration with program management team to target key market segments to achieve the program’s energy efficiency targets.
  • Provide tracking and reporting of relevant outreach KPIs for strategy analysis on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc basis.
  • Assist building owners by providing clear and informative guidance on energy efficiency measures.
  • Assist with customer segmentation, targeting and development and maintenance of contact lists and communication efforts.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports to track progress toward program goals.
  • Travel to events, including weekends and weeknights.
  • Engagement in any and all areas critical to meeting program objectives.
  • Manage outreach and marketing subcontractors, including staff augmentation team members.
  • Build internal processes on the best practices for CRMs and Email Management Systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, marketing or business.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Some experience in energy efficiency, facility design/build, and/or performance contracting.
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude.
  • Brings creative ideas to the table from lessons learned.
  • High level of oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with our clients and internal staff.
  • Sound reasoning, problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • CRM experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel to the Manhattan office; Some on-site travel may be required.
