Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organise, and manage live charity fundraising events and community activations throughout Indianapolis on behalf of our nonprofit partners
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of Promotional Fundraising Representatives on-site at every event — you set the tone, they follow your lead
  • Develop and execute event communication strategies that deliver consistent, on-brand messaging across every community touchpoint
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with nonprofit partners, community organisations, and event venues
  • Oversee all event logistics — venue setup, team scheduling, breakdown, and post-event reporting
  • Track team performance, donor acquisition results, and fundraising metrics — reporting insights to senior leadership
  • Identify performance gaps within your team and develop action plans to close them fast
  • Drive a high-performance, mission-focused team culture at every single event

Requirements

  • A natural leader with a proven ability to motivate, develop, and hold a team accountable in a fast-paced environment
  • A competitive, sports-minded mindset — you prepare like a champion and perform like one too
  • Strong verbal communication and organisational skills — equally sharp one-on-one and in front of a group
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and making decisions under pressure at live events
  • Reliable transportation for daily travel to event locations throughout Indianapolis
  • Flexible availability including some evenings and weekends as events require
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred

  • Experience in event management, fundraising, marketing, communications, or team leadership — preferred not required
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field — preferred not required
