Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the firm’s expertise is effectively communicated in the marketplace, that marketing efforts directly contribute to sales results, and that the marketing team operates as a cohesive, forward-looking unit.
  • Define and drive a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports the firm’s long-term business goals and growth targets.
  • Develop and execute annual marketing plans, set campaign priorities, and ensure that the marketing actions result in tangible beneficial outcomes including a healthy pipeline
  • Elevate the firm’s market presence and brand as a leader in the field.
  • Oversee market research and competitive analysis to inform positioning and guide the firm’s marketing message to address client needs and industry challenges.
  • Ensure a consistent, high-impact brand image across all channels – from proposals and presentations to digital media and public relations that results in tangible outcomes.
  • Establish and enforce marketing policies, processes, and budgets.
  • Drive innovation and effectiveness in marketing approaches.
  • Oversee internal and external communications, ensuring consistent messaging aligned with company values and business priorities.
  • Leverage market intelligence, analytics, and performance data to optimize marketing effectiveness and ROI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive marketing and communications leadership experience.
  • Experience leading distributed teams.
  • Proven success in developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns that drive measurable business results.
  • Strong expertise in branding, communications, demand generation, and marketing analytics.
  • Experience supporting business growth through close partnership with sales and business development teams.
  • AEC industry experience preferred; professional services experience strongly valued.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, relationship-building, and strategic thinking skills.
