Job Description
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality digital content, including photography, video, and written materials, to support USCENTCOM’s communication objectives
- Ensure compelling storytelling across digital platforms while aligning with command messaging and strategic priorities
- Support social media and website content efforts by creating engaging multimedia products, managing content distribution, and adapting messaging for diverse audiences in a dynamic operational environment
- Maintain repository of photos, videos, and digital assets
- Coordinate cross-platform promotion of content
- Ensure content reflects CENTCOM branding and messaging priorities
- Support interactive campaigns, live events, and audience engagement efforts
- Collaborate with Social Media Manager to ensure messaging alignment
- Engage with audiences through content and platform interaction
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in multimedia content creation, digital media, or related field
- Proficiency with content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software)
- Strong writing and editing skills, including AP Style
- Experience managing and producing content for digital platforms
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Security Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance
- Availability for 24/7 surge support during crisis events
- Ability to travel as required in support of CENTCOM operations
- Experience: in multimedia content creation: 5 years (Required)
Preferred
- Experience supporting government or military communications
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and engagement strategies
- Experience with photography, videography, and digital storytelling
- Familiarity with crisis communication environments
