Drive multimedia storytelling for Explore Hocking Hills by planning and producing short-form video, photo content, and social posts across platforms.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with marketing goals
Provide creative input on content performance, trends, and platform
Support campaign planning and storytelling for seasonal initiatives and promotions
Create engaging short- and long-form video content for Reels, Shorts, and documentaries
Capture photos and videos across Hocking Hills for events, attractions, and partners
Edit videos for social using platform-native tools or software
Stay current on social trends and best practices to maximize reach

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media Production/Film/Video, Digital Media or related field, or equivalent experience
3–5+ years in content creation, social media management, and digital marketing
Experience in Tourism or regional storytelling is preferred (tourism/hospitality, destination marketing, outdoor recreation, arts or community content)

Preferred

Specialized coursework or certification in Social Media Marketing, Video Production/Editing, Photography/Visual Storytelling, SEO/Content Marketing
Basic design skills (Canva, Adobe) and familiarity with podcast production
Experience with WordPress or similar CMS; comfort with A/V setup and light troubleshooting
