Job Summary
Own end-to-end marketing and membership support for the Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce, from content creation and member onboarding to event planning and post-event promotion.

Job Description
Responsibilities
- Creating and publishing social media content in a professional and timely manner
- Highlighting Chamber members and local business by highlighting local business content
- Maintain accurate and current Chamber membership records
- Track information needed to support membership and development of Chamber activities
- Welcome and onboard new Chamber members
- Provide new members with information about Chamber benefits, activities, and opportunities to be involved in while strengthening business partnerships
- Recruit and follow-up with potential Chamber members
- Support efforts that encourage member participation, engagement, and retention
- Assist with planning and coordinating Chamber events
- Provide on-site support before, during, and after Chamber events
Requirements
- The ideal candidate is outgoing, personable, tech-savvy, organized, and passionate about Calaveras County and its local business community.
- Strong communication skills, creativity, attention to detail, organization, and the ability to build relationships with local businesses are essential.
Preferred
- Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, Meta Business Suite, Wix, Canva, and/or Zeffy is preferred, along with a willingness to learn new tools and take initiative in supporting the Chamber's marketing, membership, and event goals.
