Job Summary

Own end-to-end media planning and proposal support to drive client KPIs, coordinating with Sales, Marketing, and Branded Content, Ad Ops, and finance to turn briefs into executable plans.

  • Build and revise strategic media plans and accompanying budgets/spec documents aligned to client KPIs.
  • Coordinate inventory, forecasting, and specs with Ad Ops and internal stakeholders.
  • Present plans during internal kickoffs and ensure seamless handoff to Account Management and post-sale teams.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support Sales team with day-to-day RFP and RFI submissions
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions with internal Sales, Marketing, and Branded Content teams to develop client proposals
  • Build strategic media plans in both MediaLab and client templates with a strong focus on execution feasibility and client KPIs
  • Work closely with Ad Ops to confirm ad inventory and accurately forecast availability for client proposals
  • Fill out internal budget sheets and client-facing ad specs documents to accompany media plans
  • Respond to spec-related questions, as well as general media plan inquiries from clients and internal teams
  • Revise media plans based on client feedback and budget adjustments
  • Support Account Management with campaign implementation tasks including creating Insertion orders in MediaLab template, reviewing the accuracy of client-issued Insertions Orders, inputting media plans into the order management system, and confirming ad inventory for sold programs
  • Prepare for and attend internal kick-off calls. Present the media plan and social distribution elements during internal kick-off calls, ensuring all key details are communicated to the Account Manager and all post-sale stakeholders
  • Support with administrative tasks that relate to revenue-generating initiatives

Requirements

  • 1+ year of media planning experience in digital at an agency or publisher
  • Team player, reliable, and works well with multiple teams
  • Excellent organization, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, problem-solver, and critical thinker
  • Fast learner, able to juggle multiple deliverables and work under tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint / Keynote skills
  • General knowledge of ad specs
  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, when needed
