Job Summary

Own onboarding and local activation for a 300+ store network, translating national playbooks into hands on campaigns, webinars, and materials that drive store confidence and loyalty.

  • Onboarding & Activation: plan and execute annual store onboarding campaigns across BOPIS, BODFS, Ace Rewards, online programs, and promotions.
  • Training & Enablement: own the New Owners Institute, run webinars, and continuously refresh onboarding content for franchise partners.
  • Event & Field Collaboration: manage grand openings and store upgrades, coordinating with district managers and retail coaches and representing the function at conventions.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute marketing timelines, activities, and events for onboarding over 300 new stores annually, ensuring timely activation of programs such as BOPIS, BODFS, online initiatives, Ace Rewards, and promotions.
  • Coordinate and manage grand opening and re-opening events, including creative development, offer creation, inventory securing, and deploying print and digital marketing materials.
  • Implement an 18-month marketing roadmap for new stores, integrating national and local strategies to enhance store visibility, build consumer confidence, and foster loyalty.
  • Collaborate with retail field staff, including district managers and retail coaches, to ensure comprehensive onboarding, marketing planning, and execution for each store’s first year.
  • Conduct webinars and training sessions to onboard and educate new store owners on all consumer marketing programs, including Sign Kit, e-commerce, Ace Rewards, Digital Lift Max, Local Email, SOCi, and more.
  • Maintain and update onboarding and training materials regularly, ensuring content remains current and relevant. Take ownership of the New Owners Institute training programs, including conducting sessions and preparing presentation materials.
  • Represent the company at industry conventions, traveling within the U.S. to engage with new investors, promote marketing programs, and plan grand opening events.
  • Attend at least five Ace grand openings and 2-4 competitive openings annually to evaluate effectiveness, identify improvements, and ensure smooth execution for new store owners.
  • Execute event plans for over 100 Elevate store projects, including special offers, creative initiatives, and demo ideas to support store upgrades and projects.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in marketing, retail, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a similar discipline is required.
  • Exceptional project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with diverse organizational levels and external partners.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Experience in merchandising, marketing, or analytics with a strategic mindset that challenges the status quo.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including to grand openings, conventions, and store events within the United States.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
