Job Summary

Own the marketing program for a technical AEC firm with a focus on content, proposals, and brand across channels to drive client engagement and growth intelligence.

  • Ownership: social channels, video content, and client-facing materials tied to pipeline and leadership decisions
  • Content and outreach: translate engineering concepts into compelling articles, case studies, and targeted prospect touchpoints

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead MNA's social media strategy and execution — LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. — with data-driven content planning and regular performance reporting to leadership
  • Own proposal and qualification package production end-to-end: strategy, writing, design, and on-time delivery
  • Develop and produce video content — project spotlights, facility tours, leadership interviews — for external channels
  • Write and place journal articles, conference abstracts, and project case studies that reinforce MNA's technical reputation
  • Plan and manage MNA's annual professional engagement calendar: trade shows, industry forums, career fairs, and sponsored events
  • Develop and manage structured client follow-up programs — multi-level touchpoints coordinated across project managers, principals, and ownership
  • Conduct ongoing client and market analysis: identify shifts in MNA's target sectors and surface emerging opportunities before competitors do
  • Support ownership in preparing for client meetings, executive briefings, and pursuit strategy sessions
  • Manage CRM data integrity and produce regular pipeline and activity reports for the ownership group
  • Coordinate proactive outreach to prospect clients — research, introductory materials, and first-contact support
  • Maintain and continuously improve MNA's marketing asset library: project photography, descriptions, staff bios, and templates
  • Enforce brand consistency across all outputs; own the Adobe InDesign production workflow
  • Mentor and provide day-to-day direction to the Marketing Coordinator
  • Identify gaps in MNA's marketing infrastructure and recommend process or tool improvements

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of marketing experience, with meaningful time spent in AEC, engineering, construction, or a related technical professional services environment — this is the single most important qualifier
  • Demonstrated ability to own a proposal process and produce winning qualification packages
  • Strong writer — able to translate complex engineering concepts into compelling client-facing language
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign required; Illustrator and Photoshop a plus
  • Experience managing social media programs and interpreting analytics
  • CRM platform experience required; familiarity with Deltek or similar AEC systems a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred — equivalent experience in AEC marketing will be given equal consideration
  • Comfortable presenting to firm leadership and participating in client-facing settings

    Benefits

    • Direct access to the ownership group — your recommendations will be heard and acted on
    • Technically sophisticated, mission-driven clients in pharmaceutical, biotech, and industrial sectors
    • A firm with a strong reputation and loyal client base that is actively ready to grow
    • High autonomy with real resources — this is not a support role, it is a program ownership role
    • Clear path to Marketing Manager as the firm scales toward 300+ staff
    • Collaborative, low-bureaucracy environment where marketing is a strategic priority, not an afterthought
