Responsibilities

• Implement social media strategies and campaigns to engage City residents.
• Design social media graphics, signage, flyers and other promotional materials to support City departments.
• Develop and implement monthly social media content calendars.
• Update all content for websites, social media, and other communication channels.
• Assist with content development & programming for the City's Government Access Channel, through graphics, video projects and photography.
• Implement marketing and advertising plans for assigned departments.
• Seek out relevant and proactive stories, topics, content, etc. to be used to promote Temple’s image.
• Collaborate proactively with departments to ensure that content communicated is relevant and well-designed.
• Stay up-to date with current industry trends and technology by attending trainings, conferences, webinars, etc.
• Participates in professional organizations and marketing information groups to advance knowledge and network with other industry professionals.
