Marketing Specialist, Aviation & Marine Services

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage social media content calendars for SiriusXM Aviation and Marine brands across Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Schedule and publish content while monitoring engagement, responding to comments, refining strategies based on analytics , and determining appropriate routine adjustments within established marketing guidelines .
• Keep up to date on current social media practices to identify new ideas and content that will increase engagement with our target audiences.
• Assist in filming marketing videos, including setup, interviews, and capturing b-roll.
• Collaborate on creative assets such as emails, brochures, digital and print ads, and podcasts.
• Support website updates and coordinate with SiriusXM’s .com team and external vendors.
• Conduct monthly analysis and reporting for organic and paid search, digital advertising, social media, and email marketing ; evaluate performance across channels, identify trends, and recommend actions based on multiple data points .
• Manage the production, updates, and ordering of printed materials and merchandise.
• Assist with communications with Aviation & Marine influencers and brand ambassadors, including reviewing annual contracts.
• Own project coordi na tio n for defined marketing initiatives and events, including boat shows, airshows, and tournaments , applying independent judgment to keep deliverables on schedule and within budget .

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of rel a t e d experience ; or an adva nc ed degree witho u t exper i e n ce; o r equ i v alent wo r k e xper ien ce .
• Ability to travel to select events and partner meetings within the U.S.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize information and tasks by urgent vs. less time-sensitive and critical vs. non-critical.
• Consistent follow-through to completion of tasks and activities – to ensure prioritized activities are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Experience managing vendor and partner relationships.
• Proven interpersonal skills – able to work effectively and develop relationships with key contacts across functions internally and at partner organizations as needed.
• Listens well – not only in meetings, but also open to coaching for professional development.
• Positive attitude and flexible – willing and able to perform other duties as necessary for team success.

Preferred

• Experience with Adobe Premiere and Photoshop is a plus.
• Aviation and/or Marine industry or weather services experience is a plus.
• Experience with automation and/or AI is a plus.
