Job Summary

Own local community marketing for a cinema, driving audience through social content, events, and partnerships.

  • Content & social: Create and schedule engaging social media content and monitor engagement to build a consistent online presence.
  • Campaigns & events: Design digital/print materials and run creative campaigns (Children’s Matinee Series) to boost attendance and premieres.
  • Community & partnerships: Coordinate outreach with schools and local businesses, capture photography/video, and track performance to inform decisions.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage and update the theatre website.
  • Create and schedule engaging social media content.
  • Design digital and print marketing materials.
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns.
  • Develop creative campaigns to increase attendance such as Children’s Matinee Series.
  • Coordinate community outreach and partnerships with local schools and businesses.
  • Capture photography and short-form video.
  • Monitor and respond to social media engagement.
  • Track marketing performance.
  • Assist with special events and premieres.

Requirements

  • Creative, energetic, and passionate about marketing.
  • Works independently without micromanagement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Reliable, organized, and deadline-driven.
  • Quick learner who adapts to new software.
  • Able to manage multiple projects.

Nice_to_have

  • 1-2 years of experience prior marketing experience
