Job Summary

Build and manage JR Engineering’s proposal process end-to-end—from intake through submittal—ensuring compliant, on-brand, and persuasive responses that support winning opportunities.

Proposal workflow ownership: turn requests into compliant, on-time submissions across PDFs portals and hard copies.
Content and branding: edit for clarity and tone while applying JR branding and formatting.
Compliance and messaging: advise on structure, resumes, project sheets, and client-driven messaging to maximize hit rate.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Manages the proposal process from receipt to submittal
Develops proposal schedules, outlines, and compliance matrices
Edits and refines content for clarity, consistency, and tone
Ensures compliance with RFP/RFQ instructions
Applies JR branding, graphics, and formatting
Coordinates resumes, project sheets, and firm information
Manages final production and submission (PDFs, portals, hard copies)
Advises Business Development and Client Managers on proposal structure and messaging
Maintains and updates proposal templates and marketing materials
Tracks proposal metrics (submittals, wins, hit rates)

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred
Minimum of 3 years of related experience required
Knowledge and experience with the following software:
Microsoft Office
Adobe InDesign
Adobe Photoshop (optional)
Adobe Illustrator (optional)
AI tools for graphics/content such as ChatGPT or Adobe Firefly

Preferred

Prior experience in marketing or proposal coordination
Experience with branding and formatting standards
