Job Summary

Drive the Federation’s storytelling and audience engagement across social, content, and email workflows, partnering with the Marketing team to create posts, write pieces, and support video and outreach initiatives for community impact.

  • Own lightweight content creation and social media support across platforms, with analytics-driven iteration.
  • Contribute copy, articles, and email campaigns to engage supporters, donors, and volunteers.
  • Assist video and administrative tasks to keep campaigns moving and events promoted.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management: Help support the management of the Federation’s social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) by creating engaging posts, monitoring engagement, and tracking analytics.
  • Copywriting , Article Writing and Storytelling Contribute to the Jewish Community Voice with 2 articles, as well as other writing opportunities such as contributing to JFSNJ’s annual Impact Report, email marketing and other copywriting as needed.
  • Email Marketing: Assist in drafting and designing JFSNJ email marketing campaigns to keep supporters, donors, and volunteers engaged and informed.
  • Videography: Assist the video team on assignment as necessary, including capturing footage.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the marketing team as needed. Attend meetings as requested.

Requirements

  • Students who attend a New Jersey institution of higher education, or are a New Jersey resident attending an institution outside of the state

  • Additional Technical Requirements : Outlook, Word, Google Drive, Canva, Social Media Management (i.e. Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite and/or Sprout)
