Job Summary

Drive marketing program management for Carter Machinery’s Virginia market, owning plan execution, content production, ROI analysis, and cross-functional reporting.

  • Own the execution of the business unit’s annual marketing plans with internal partners.
  • Must-have: minimum three years in a professional marketing environment and proven campaign development.
  • Standout: ability to travel across Carter’s service territory, including overnight stays.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Advocate for fresh, relevant and effective marketing for their program/business unit.
  • Activate the execution of assigned business unit annual marketing plans including collaboration with the Content Marketing Manager/Project Manager and external resources.
  • Gather content and oversee production of tactics (digital and traditional).
  • Provide MROI (Marketing Return on Investment) requirements for the data team and recommend plan modifications based on performance.
  • Communicate results to business unit leadership and sales teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a professional marketing environment or related field.
  • Thorough understanding of foundational marketing processes and campaign development.
  • Must be able to manage multiple business priorities and take a proactive approach to ensure on time delivery.
  • Must be a good listener with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented. Must be able to work independently and possess ability to navigate multiple/changing priorities.
  • Strong leadership skills and a commitment to teamwork.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to instantly connect with a range of subjects and personality types; excellent customer satisfaction skills, with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Strong PC skills and the ability to self-develop and adapt to changing technology.
  • Periodic travel throughout Carter’s service territory, including overnight stays.
  • Promote a positive customer and employee experience at all times.
