Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Research and pitch media outlets, podcasts, and speaking opportunities to grow Amy’s visibility and brand presence
  • Support outreach to event organizers, conference planners, and organizations aligned with Cultivate’s audience
  • Assist in building and maintaining a targeted PR and communications pipeline
  • Send pitch emails, speaker submissions, and follow-up communication
  • Identify strategic partnerships and collaboration opportunities that expand reach and relationships
  • Track outreach, responses, and placements to understand what’s working and where to build momentum
  • Support content amplification tied to speaking engagements, including social media posts, recap content, and newsletter mentions
  • Monitor trends, events, and conversations where Cultivate should have a voice
  • Collaborate with both Cultivate and Last Night’s Game teams on marketing, communications, and brand visibility initiatives
  • Take on special creative or research projects as they arise

Requirements

  • You’re a current undergraduate majoring in public relations, communications, marketing, journalism, or has an emphasis (i.e., a minor in one of those studies) (Spring/Summer 2026 grads — this one isn’t for you)
  • You’re curious about how people, brands, and ideas gain visibility through PR, media, and marketing strategy
  • You’re a strong writer who can craft thoughtful, clear outreach emails
  • You think in angles and storylines, not just tasks
  • You’re organized and detail-oriented, you can track conversations, contacts, and next steps
  • You take initiative and aren’t afraid to test, learn, and refine your approach
  • You value authentic connection and understand that relationships drive opportunities
  • You’re familiar with tools like Canva and Google Suite and can support light content tied to visibility efforts
