Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of promotions across marketing channels.
  • Manage co-op activities, including coordinating with vendors and partners to maximize marketing support and funding opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with co-op guidelines and requirements.
  • Partner with Purchasing on co-op initiatives.
  • Assist in new store marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate logistics, promotional materials, and communication related to these activities.
  • Responsible for event coordination with duties to include but not limit to the following: experience in event batch creation, sign creation and proofing, event proofing and testing and managing special event sales and promotions.
  • Track sponsorship deliverables and provide post-event analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of each sponsorship closures.
  • Ability to travel to events and represent Rural King appropriately.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify potential sponsorship opportunities at local fairs within our target markets.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of marketing experience and bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Demonstrated behaviors must reflect integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to travel to events and represent Rural King appropriately.

Preferred

  • Prior experience in marketing operations, marketing coordination, or a similar role is preferred.
