Teach marketing courses as a part-time instructor for The University of Tampa, with syllabus design and student office hours.

  • Teach one or two courses per semester; develop semester objectives aligned to the university mission.
  • Must-have: MBA or MSc in marketing plus 18 graduate hours; professional marketing executive experience.
  • Standout: Ph.D. in Marketing preferred and teaching experience.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Teach one or two course(s) per semester.
  • Create syllabus for students each semester to include learning objective consistent with The University and College of Business mission statement (course objectives and sample syllabi will be provided).
  • Provide meeting time for students. Maintain office hours on campus.
  • Manage online/paperwork grading system, participate in training prior to first semester of teaching.

Requirements

  • An MBA or MSc in marketing; however, a Ph.D. in Marketing is preferred.
  • 18 graduate hours in Marketing.
  • Significant experience as a professional Marketing Executive.

Preferred

  • Ph.D. in Marketing is preferred.
  • Teaching experience preferred.
