Responsibilities

• Develop and own CGN's annual marketing strategy — setting channel priorities, campaign direction, and growth targets tied to revenue goals
• Run paid ads for CGN across Google Ads, Meta, and YouTube — hands-on strategy, build, and optimization
• Own demand generation — filling the sales pipeline with qualified prospects through paid and organic channels
• Full-funnel strategy and execution — HubSpot as the foundation, built out across landing pages, email sequences, ad funnels, and additional platforms over time
• CGN's brand — positioning, messaging, and voice across everything we publish
• Content and thought-leadership direction: blog, social, video, email, events, and webinars
• Marketing reporting: pipeline contribution, cost per lead, CAC, and ROI by channel — reported to Aly
• The marketing budget
• One direct report (Media Manager) and outside vendor relationships
• Own paid ads strategy for clients who purchase paid advertising as a CGN add-on service

Requirements

• 5+ years in marketing, with experience owning strategy or leading a team
• Agency background — you understand how agencies work and how to market one
• Hands-on paid media experience across Google Ads, Meta, and YouTube — you build, manage, and optimize campaigns yourself
• Experience making paid ads recommendations to clients — you can translate strategy into clear direction a contractor owner understands
• Experience managing or directing a white label or third-party execution team
• A track record of owning a lead-gen or pipeline number and hitting it
• Podcast marketing experience — you know how to grow an audience and understand the sponsorship and advertising landscape
• Funnel building experience — HubSpot proficiency required, with the ability to extend across multiple platforms
• Strong analytics skills and comfort with attribution — you know what's working and why
• Fluency with the tools we run on: Claude (AI), n8n (automation), and HubSpot

Preferred

• Marketing experience in remodeling, construction, or another home-services or trades vertical
• Experience with podcast advertising and sponsorship deals
• Familiarity with YouTube channel growth strategy

• $80,000–$95,000 base salary plus a performance incentive tied to pipeline contribution (OTE $95,000–$115,000)
