Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the daily workflow of the Marketing Department through approved projectmanagement and service-request systems, including project intake, task creation, assignments, priorities, production schedules, review dates, approvals, and publication deadlines.
  • Manage the Marketing service request queue, acknowledge requests, confirm requirements and deadlines, and communicate project status to requestors.
  • Maintain a centralized marketing calendar covering campaigns, communications, advertisements, events, sponsorships, social media, website updates, the Annual Meeting, and other significant Credit Union activities.
  • Maintain working knowledge of Credit Union products, services, campaigns, and member communication requirements.
  • Provide functional direction to Marketing employees regarding assigned projects, deliverables, corrections, and due dates under authority delegated by the Vice President of Marketing.
  • Monitor project progress and escalate missed deadlines, quality concerns, competing priorities, workflow bottlenecks, or capacity limitations to the Vice President of Marketing.
  • Conduct firstlevel quality review of memberfacing and publicfacing materials for accuracy, grammar, spelling, formatting, brand consistency, disclosures, and completeness.
  • Coordinate businessowner verification, compliance review, management approval, and final publication authorization.
  • Ensure final materials, approvals, source files, publication links, campaign documentation, and performance results are retained within approved Credit Union systems.
  • Coordinate the development and execution of campaigns across email, website, social media, digital advertising, print, branch, and other communication channels.

Requirements

  • Strong projectmanagement, organizational, and timemanagement skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in grammar, spelling, proofreading, formatting, and quality control.
  • Ability to coordinate peerlevel work and provide clear direction regarding assignments, standards, and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees, members, vendors, media, and community partners.
  • Sound judgment regarding public relations, brand reputation, member communications, and escalation of potential risks.
  • Working knowledge of marketing compliance, campaign management, social media, digital communications, graphic design, and print production.
  • Ability to interpret campaign results and communicate performance, budget impact, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and appropriate Documentation.
  • Minimum Education: College degree in marketing, communications, business, public relations, or a related field preferred. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education, with two years of experience substituted for each year of education.
  • Minimum Experience: Four years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, communications, project management, event coordination, or marketing operations. Prior experience coordinating projects or serving in a lead capacity is desired. Credit Union or financial-services experience is preferred.
