Responsibilities

• Develop client-specific marketing strategies that support program goals and objectives.
• Build a deep understanding of each program and ensure marketing strategies align with desired outcomes.
• Prepare annual client marketing plans and budgets.
• Collaborate with copywriters, designers, web developers, and other marketing team members on strategy and campaign development.
• Create clear project briefs for creative work, including project goals, objectives, audiences, deliverables, and supporting information.
• Coordinate technical and background content from program teams to support accurate project development.
• Serve as the initial reviewer for creative projects, ensuring work meets client needs and brand standards, and coordinate internal and external reviews.
• Manage and report on contracted marketing budgets.
• Plan and optimize campaigns across email, web, paid search, digital advertising, and social media.
• Use customer, CRM, and web data to develop audience segments, map customer journeys, and identify engagement patterns.

• Ability to present concepts to clients and work effectively with cross-functional team members.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must reside in one of the following states: Washington, Oregon, Wyoming, Idaho, or Utah.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in marketing or a related field; a graduate degree is a plus.
• Seven to ten or more years of experience in marketing and client management.
• Experience in the energy efficiency industry or another technical industry is a plus.
• Experience developing marketing plans and budgets and reporting campaign performance to clients.
• Experience managing multi-channel digital campaigns and using data to guide strategy and optimization.
• Valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and verifiable insurance.
• Familiarity with Adobe, digital media, analytics, marketing automation, CRM, and project management tools is preferred.
• Strong background in digital marketing, audience insights, consumer analytics, and campaign performance measurement is preferred.
