Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product management to align communication strategies with product roadmaps.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar for all product-related communications.
  • Prepare and coach company spokespeople for interviews and speaking engagements.
  • Conduct regular competitive analysis to inform positioning and messaging.
  • Craft compelling product narratives and value propositions that resonate with target audiences.
  • Oversee the development of product-related visual assets by working closely with the Creative Media team.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent voice.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., product management, sales, etc.) to understand customer pain points and tailor messaging accordingly.
  • Coordinate product showcases at conferences and trade shows with the Digital Marketing and internal events team.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive, multi-channel communication strategies for products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years developing and executing marketing and communications strategies.
  • Proven experience in product marketing or communications, preferably industrial product marketing.
  • Experience in market research and analysis.
  • Familiar with product marketing tactics (e.g., integrated marketing campaigns).
  • Working knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, WebTrends).
  • Strong knowledge of content development for omnichannel distribution.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail with strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; adept at building relationships with different stakeholders.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and marketing-related software programs (e.g., CRM platforms, marketing automation tools).

Preferred

  • Ability to travel and stay overnight as needed.
