Job Description

Drive content creation and coordination for Woods Basement Systems marketing campaigns across web, blogs, emails, and social channels.

  • Coordinates and writes content of marketing campaigns, including web content and social media content
  • Coordinates content, design, and production of marketing materials to reach current or potential customers including blogs, case studies, email and mobile marketing initiatives, and other marketing and promotional items requested
  • Assists Director of Marketing in envisioning marketing strategies with the goal of creating as many sales leads as possible annually
  • Regular and punctual attendance. 15-20 hours per week. Includes marketing and industry-specific assessments
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Requirements for the role

  • Pursuing or expecting Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, public relations, or communications-related field
  • Interest and/or some experience in marketing, writing, communications or public relations
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and practices
  • Skill in operating personal computer and Office programs
  • Skill in graphic design
  • Strong writing skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Rick’s wife Anna Lee, son Wayne, daughter Susan, son-in-law Tim, and cousin Chris Blickenstaff are all management-level employees of Woods Basement Systems, with his grandkids: Alli, Drew, Nick, Jack, twins Sophie & Lily, Rachel, Mary, and Sarah being the “real” bosses.As you can see, this is a family business. Today, we are one of the largest basement waterproofing, basement wall repair and foundation piering contractors in Illinois and Missouri. In 2005, we became the world’s largest Basement Systems dealer – topping those 400+ dealers in seven countries!
