Own and shape the content creation and social media support for College Flight Path, guiding copy, video edits, graphics, scheduling, and day-to-day engagement across multiple platforms while coordinating email, website updates, and a capstone project.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist with content development — writing and editing copy for social media, email, and the website.
  • Edit and produce short-form video content for social media and marketing campaigns.
  • Design graphics and visual assets in Canva for social posts, email, and web use.
  • Support day-to-day social media management, including scheduling, posting, and community engagement across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns, including drafting, formatting, and scheduling sends.
  • Support website updates and maintenance in Squarespace.
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and program events.
  • Complete a final capstone project — scoped to your experience and interests — presented to the team at the end of the program.

Requirements

  • Must have a permanent home address in Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Texas — this is a firm eligibility requirement; candidates residing elsewhere cannot be considered.
  • Currently enrolled as a college sophomore or junior (or equivalent marketing/content experience).
  • Preferred majors: marketing, communications, journalism, design, education, or English — or relevant marketing experience.
  • Strong interest in content creation, digital marketing, or design; a portfolio or samples of past work are welcome.
  • Available 5–10 hours per week during the semester, with the option to work up to 20 hours per week in summer.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eager to learn, proactive, organized, and reliable.
  • Comfortable working with students, families, or school partners.
  • Familiarity with (or strong interest in learning) Canva and basic video editing software.
  • Comfortable creating content for and engaging on TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
