Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of various events, including corporate functions, fundraisers, and promotional activities
  • Support event setup, registration, guest services, and breakdown to ensure smooth operations
  • Coordinate with vendors for catering, banquet services, and other event requirements
  • Engage with attendees to promote brand awareness and enhance customer experience
  • Manage event budgets and assist with contracts and negotiations with suppliers and venues
  • Upsell products or services during events to maximize revenue opportunities
  • Contribute to marketing campaigns through promotion, flyers, and outreach efforts
  • Collaborate with team members to develop innovative event concepts and marketing strategies
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing attendee inquiries and resolving issues promptly

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective guest engagement
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Proficiency in time management to meet deadlines and coordinate schedules efficiently
  • Negotiation skills for vendor contracts and upselling opportunities
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and event marketing techniques
  • Customer service experience within hospitality or related fields such as banquet service or guest relations
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work collaboratively within a team environment

Preferred

  • Experience or familiarity with event planning, hotel or restaurant operations, or fundraising is a plus
