Job Summary

Own the guest experience and events engine for a boutique winery, tying tastings, private events, social content, and local partnerships to bookings and visits.

  • Guest Experience & Programming: host tastings, craft the cofermentation story, and design in-house events that showcase the space and kitchen.
  • Brand Voice & Social: own the CrossHatch presence and calendar with consistent, approachable content that fits the brand.
  • End-to-End Event Ownership: manage logistics, vendors, and day-of execution for owned and rented events to drive bookings.

Job Description

Responsibilities - Host guests and lead tastings, bringing our cofermentation story to life for newcomers and regulars alike - Represent the CrossHatch brand voice in every guest interaction — warm, knowledgeable, unpretentious - Support day-to-day tasting room operations alongside the rest of the small team - Design and run CrossHatch's own programming calendar — tastings, release parties, chef pop-ups leveraging our commercial kitchen, community nights - Sell the building as a private event space: develop packages, pricing, and pitch materials for weddings, corporate gatherings, and private parties - Own execution end-to-end for both owned programming and rented-out events — logistics, vendor coordination, day-of run of show - Own CrossHatch's social media presence and content calendar, keeping it consistent with our brand identity - Drive awareness and visibility through local partnerships, tourism/discovery channels, and community relationships - Build marketing materials and outreach campaigns to support event bookings and tasting room visits Requirements - Experience in hospitality, events, or marketing — ideally some mix of all three - A natural host: someone who enjoys people and can hold a room - Sales instincts — comfortable pitching, following up, and closing on event bookings - Strong writing and visual sense for social/marketing content - Highly organized and self-directed; we're a small team and you'll own real ground here - Excited by wine, food, and the idea of building something from the ground up Benefits - Employee discount - Flexible schedule - Paid time off
