Job Summary

Own the local ambassador mission for SunCoast Blood Centers by building and maintaining partnerships with chambers, schools, healthcare partners and community leaders to drive visibility, donor recruitment, and event-driven engagement.

Manage presence at chamber events and community meetings to grow partnerships and awareness.
Coordinate donor recruitment campaigns and donor appreciation events across multiple counties.
Track event impact and sponsor engagement to optimize future outreach.

Job Description

Represent SunCoast Blood Centers at chamber of commerce events, networking functions, community meetings, civic organizations, healthcare events, and outreach opportunities.
Develop and maintain relationships with businesses, schools, healthcare partners, nonprofit organizations, elected officials, and community leaders.
Promote awareness of SunCoast Blood Centers’ mission, services, donor needs, and community impact.
Identify opportunities to increase organizational visibility and community engagement.
Coordinate educational presentations and community outreach activities.
Maintain active participation in chambers of commerce, business networking groups, and community organizations to expand organizational awareness and partnership opportunities.
Serve as an ambassador for SunCoast Blood Centers throughout the service area.
Plan, coordinate, and support community events, donor appreciation events, sponsorship activities, health fairs, employee events, fundraising initiatives, and outreach programs.
Manage event logistics including registration, vendor communication, promotional materials, setup, staffing coordination, execution, and post-event evaluation.
Assist with planning and execution of donor recruitment campaigns and special events.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in marketing, event planning, community relations, fundraising, public relations, business development, or a related field.
Experience coordinating multiple projects and events simultaneously.
Experience working with community organizations, sponsors, chambers of commerce, and business partners preferred.
Strong networking, relationship-building, and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media management platforms, CRM systems, and marketing-related software.
Ability to professionally represent SunCoast Blood Centers in public settings.
Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
Valid Florida driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to travel throughout SunCoast Blood Centers' multi-county service area.
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on organizational and community event needs.

Experience with donor recruitment initiatives.
Experience coordinating donor recruitment initiatives and special organizational campaigns.
Strong communication and presentation skills in public settings.
