Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative concepts, hooks, storyboards, and simple scripts for campaigns, product demonstrations, customer stories, and social content.
  • Produce still images, short-form videos, animated ads, and creative variations for paid and organic channels.
  • Handle straightforward video production, including screen recordings, simple footage capture, editing, captions, audio cleanup, branded graphics, and final exports.
  • Turn webinars, customer interviews, product demonstrations, and existing content into useful assets across different formats.
  • Use AI tools to explore concepts, create and edit visual content, accelerate production, and build repeatable workflows while maintaining quality and brand consistency.
  • Apply our brand consistently and recommend practical improvements to layouts, imagery, templates, and visual presentation.
  • Work with marketing to review creative performance and test different messages, hooks, formats, and calls to action.
  • Build reusable templates, maintain organized asset libraries, and check finished work before publication, including mobile layouts, readability, links, and forms.

Requirements

  • Typically 2–4 years of relevant experience in marketing design, content creation, or a related creative role. Agency, in-house, and substantial freelance experience all count. Your portfolio matters more than an exact number of years.
  • Strong design fundamentals, including typography, layout, visual hierarchy, composition, and consistency across formats.
  • Hands-on experience building and publishing responsive website or landing pages in a CMS or visual website platform.
  • Proficiency in Figma and relevant design tools, such as Adobe Creative Cloud, plus presentation tools such as PowerPoint or Google Slides.
  • Practical video creation and editing skills, with examples of finished content you personally produced.
  • An understanding of how hooks, pacing, messaging, formats, and calls to action influence content performance.
  • Experience using AI tools in your creative process, with the ability to explain your workflow and refine the output.
  • The ability to develop ideas from a brief, ask useful questions, and carry projects through production.
  • Strong attention to detail, organized working habits, and clear communication.
  • Openness to feedback and curiosity about new tools, techniques, and creative approaches.

Preferred

  • Designing or creating content for a B2B company.
  • Developing paid social creative, customer testimonial videos, or creator-style content.
  • Briefing and coordinating freelance creators, editors, or other contributors.
  • Building an engaged audience for yourself, an employer, or a client.
  • Working in HubSpot CMS or comparable website platforms.
  • Basic HTML and CSS.
  • Motion graphics or animation.
  • Helping customers or colleagues feel comfortable and communicate clearly on camera.

Benefits

  • 401(k) with 4% company match.
