Job Summary

Own regional proposal operations and messaging, coordinating pursuit timelines and win themes while building a scalable materials database for A/E/C opportunities.

Proposal management: Own local development, scheduling, compliance checklists, and debriefs.
Messaging & differentiators: Develop targeted win themes and differentiators to win regional opportunities.
Materials infrastructure: Build and maintain resumes, project descriptions, and standardize presentation assets for submissions.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Assume responsibility for proposal production and coordination as assigned
Establish and manage proposal schedules and compliance checklists
Lead local proposal development, review and debrief meetings
Assist on large pursuits, including national top pursuits
Lead development of targeted messaging, win themes and differentiators
Research relevant staff qualifications, firm experience and proposals
Develop, organize and maintain a database of materials necessary for proposal submission
Develop and maintain regional proposal resources, including resumes and project descriptions
Develop, organize, and standardize materials necessary for presentations
Frequently monitor websites for the advertisement of new solicitations

Requirements

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
3+ years of proposal development experience in the A/E/C industry (strongly preferred)
Solid grasp of writing and editing best practices and ability to complete work assignments independently
Curiosity and desire to learn about the engineering industry and participate in continuing education/training
Ability to work with a diverse team of marketing professionals in a highly collaborative group environment

Preferred

Familiarity with SF330, SF255, and other state or federal form requirements (preferred)
Experience with Microsoft Office and InDesign. Knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop (preferred)
