Job Description

Responsibilities

  • As the Marketing & Content Director, you will serve as the primary storyteller and strategic engine for the BPI brand.
  • Drive a sophisticated editorial agenda—including our podcast, social platforms, and research reports—to position BPI as an authoritative voice.
  • Translate complex data and insights into compelling thought leadership with senior leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Productize internal innovation and expertise into a market-facing brand narrative to fuel growth and new business.
  • Own strategy and content across Strategy & Content, Earned Media & Executive Positioning, Events & Brand Experience, and Special Projects.
  • Collaborate with New Business to ensure marketing accelerates agency growth.
  • Manage website and multimedia strategy for the brand, ensuring impact in key rooms and forums.
  • Lead major announcements and oversee routine website governance with external partners.
  • Oversee events strategy from virtual to in-person, including salons, roundtables, and panels.
  • Coordinate with European markets to maintain a unified global brand presence.

Requirements

  • Editorial or Agency Marketing Background: 7+ years in an agency marketing role, newsroom, or production-heavy environment.
  • Content Production: Experience managing multi-channel content (podcasts, social, long-form reports) from ideation to execution.
  • Strategic Narrative Ability: Able to translate complex geopolitical or technical data into compelling narratives for Fortune 500 leaders.
  • Editorial & Creative Initiative: Strong writer/editor who identifies stories before others do and makes tech accessible to C-suite.
  • Agility in High-Stakes Environments: Thrives in fast-paced, collaborative settings with pivot capability.
  • Strategic Intuition: Sees industry trends early and positions BPI ahead of the curve.
  • People Leadership & Management: Builds trust with senior leaders; manages junior staff and external vendors.
  • Energy, Humility, and Positive Attitude: Thrives in a fast-moving environment and lifts the team.
