Marketing & Content Associate

Responsibilities

• Consistently capture photo and video content throughout Starland, including sports programs, events, camps, attractions, food & beverage, and other facility activities.
• Create, edit, and publish engaging short-form videos and social media content.
• Appear on camera and record voiceovers as needed to showcase programs, attractions, promotions, and facility happenings.
• Attend select major events to capture content and provide real-time social media coverage, including live posting and livestreaming as appropriate.
• Maintain a consistent flow of fresh content across Starland’s social media channels.
• Develop content around upcoming programs, events, promotions, and seasonal initiatives.
• Proactively identify content opportunities and bring ideas forward.
• Maintain an organized collection of current photos, videos, graphics, and other marketing assets.
• Monitor content and campaign performance, track engagement and audience growth, and recommend adjustments based on results, relevant trends, and competitor activity.
• Design digital and print materials, including social graphics, flyers, posters, signage, menus, advertisements, email graphics, digital displays, and promotional materials. Primarily through Canva.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of relevant marketing, graphic design, social media, or content-creation experience preferred.
• A portfolio demonstrating examples of social media or video content is required.

Preferred

• Experience in sports, entertainment, hospitality, events, recreation, or another high-volume consumer business is a plus.
