Job Summary

Own Freeman editorial and content flow from stories to magazine production, while supporting cross-channel storytelling and program events.

  • Editorial ownership: alumni, faculty and student coverage, admissions copy, and Freeman News/story compilation.
  • Content & channel: deliver compelling Freeman content across channels and support magazine/newsroom storytelling.
  • Operations & execution: help marketing strategies, budgets, vendor payments, invoicing, and campus marketing with other schools.

Responsibilities

  • Editorial ownership: craft alumni stories, class notes, faculty and student coverage, admissions copy, and Freeman News/story compilation and production.
  • Content & channel: produce compelling written content for Freeman channels and support magazine and newsletter storytelling.
  • Operations & execution: assist marketing strategies, budget management, vendor payments, invoicing, and campus marketing activities with other schools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in English, marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
  • 3 years demonstrated relevant experience.

Preferred

  • Strong understanding of managing and executing administrative Marketing duties, budget management and vendor payment management.
  • Recent marketing and communications experience in an institution of higher education or a non-profit organization similar to higher education.
