Job Summary

Own the end-to-end content engine for life-sciences marketing, turning SME insights into accessible, SEO-friendly assets and campaigns across websites, emails, and social channels.

  • Content Production: Create high-impact materials (case studies, white papers, blogs, emails, newsletters) aligned to AP Style and brand voice.
  • Editorial & Channels: Manage the editorial calendar and publish consistently across channels while coordinating social and internal communications.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Content production across formats (case studies, white papers, blogs, emails, newsletters, digital assets) aligned with AP Style and brand guidelines.
  • Editorial calendar management to ensure consistent, timely publication across channels.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to create accurate, audience-appropriate content.
  • Ensure all content follows approved workflows and brand voice guidelines.
  • Coordinate communication of organizational initiatives to stakeholders.
  • Manage day-to-day social media activity (primarily LinkedIn), including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement.
  • Support social media strategies and campaigns aligned with marketing objectives.
  • Monitor social media performance and share insights with the manager.
  • Execute website content updates via WordPress with stakeholder coordination for accuracy.
  • Apply SEO best practices to new and existing website content.
  • Flag and escalate website issues or opportunities to the manager as needed.
  • Support conference and event logistics, including materials and pre/post-event communications.
  • Help maintain the organization’s presence at industry events with displays and collateral.
  • Research industry trends and assist in drafting thought leadership content, including articles and speaking proposals.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to translate technical insights into accessible marketing content.
  • Build, test and deploy email campaigns using HubSpot.
  • Support setup and maintenance of marketing automation workflows and nurture programs.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance metrics and report to support data-driven decisions.
  • Plan, edit and write content for internal communications channels (SharePoint, staff emails, internal decks, newsletters).
  • Provide support for internal events by coordinating cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism or a related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of marketing and communications experience, preferably in life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceutical or a related B2B environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated mastery of AP Style.
  • Strong capabilities in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work across teams.
  • Deadline-driven and able to balance competing priorities while working independently or in a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in specialty pharmacy, patient access, hub services or life sciences marketing.
  • Public relations, marketing or advertising agency experience.
  • Experience supporting conference or trade show participation.
  • Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot or comparable marketing automation platform.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Campaign Manager and social media scheduling tools.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar design tools for digital asset creation.
