Responsibilities

  • The Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for the internal and external marketing programs, advertising, event and activity promotion, social media presence and other public relations activities.
  • The Marketing and Communications Manager may occasionally supervise student interns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communication, or related field
  • Two years of related experience
  • Skill/experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and social media platforms

Preferred

  • Seeking candidates with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in design and technology
  • Excellent record of work in marketing and publicity
  • Strong project management experience and organizational skills
  • Ability to take initiative, work without supervision and begin projects independently
  • Fluency and ability to produce content for marketing campaigns across multiple web-based and traditional platforms plus the ability to lead social media programs
  • Excellent writing skills for different media
  • Strong strategic planning, proven implementation and execution experience
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud software, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Experience designing and ordering promotional materials like t-shirts, stickers, and invitations
