Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Engage our ever-changing student audience through dynamic and accessible campaigns.
  • Help deliver campaigns to drive engagement with Bristol SU and its services.
  • Support Bristol SU’s distinctive tone of voice and assist teams with copywriting and communication.
  • Support elected officers and staff to respond to media enquiries; proactively pitch stories to student, local and national media.
  • Contribute to social media content; be the lead copywriter in the team.
  • Deliver inclusive content that speaks to the student audience and adds value to their experience and interactions with the SU.
  • Ensure content creators across the brand contribute to the vision for how we communicate.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, varied creative environment.

Requirements

  • experience in writing copy for a range of different channels
  • confident producing fun, high-engaging, optimised social media content
  • able to use, develop and gatekeep our tone of voice
  • know how to respond to reactive media enquiries, and support others in this area
  • willing to get stuck into a range of projects in a fast-moving creative team
