Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Translate organizational priorities and communications strategy into clear marketing plans, campaign timelines, and content initiatives that support program goals and fundraising efforts.
  • Proactively identify storytelling opportunities across programs and create content based on these stories.
  • Develop and execute targeted digital campaigns aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Create timely, effective social campaigns, content plans and posts that promote emerging needs and opportunities.
  • Partner with leadership to clarify metrics, outcomes, timelines, and expectations for major initiatives.
  • Build strong working relationships across departments to surface stories, impact data, and program updates.
  • Work with program and development leaders to identify communication needs and develop coordinated marketing plans that support program growth, engagement, and recruitment.
  • Coordinate with external partners and vendors to ensure brand alignment and timely execution.
  • Design and produce high-quality marketing assets, including digital ads, social content, email campaigns, brochures, and web graphics.
  • Ensure consistency in EverHope’s voice, visual identity, and trauma-informed messaging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field
  • 2+ years of relevant marketing experience with demonstrated initiative and ownership of projects.
  • Twenty-one years of age or older.
  • Must pass all criminal history and child maltreatment background checks.
  • Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen, as well as random drug screens when directed.
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and office equipment.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated.
  • Excellent verbal, writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to present information concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task work; self-motivated and excellent in building relationships.

Preferred

  • Squarespace experience is a plus.
  • Experience with donor or nonprofit communications.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms.
  • Social media analytics and digital campaign experience.
  • Basic video editing or animation skills.
