Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Marketing & Communications Coordinator supports departmental marketing initiatives through social media management, Meta advertising, email marketing, graphic design, content creation, and promotional campaign execution. This position is responsible for implementing approved marketing strategies and ensuring quality and timely delivery of marketing materials across multiple channels.
  • Email Marketing: Create, schedule, and deploy email marketing campaigns supporting thrift stores, e-commerce, ARC programs, and organizational priorities.
  • Email Marketing: Maintain email marketing distribution lists and support audience segmentation efforts to improve campaign targeting and engagement.
  • Email Marketing: Monitor email campaign performance and prepare regular analytics reports to evaluate results and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Social Media & Content Creation: Manage all day-to-day social media activities, including content creation, scheduling, publishing, community engagement, and audience interaction.
  • Social Media & Content Creation: Execute paid social media advertising campaigns across Meta platforms, manage advertising budgets, and provide monthly performance reporting and analytics to support audience growth and optimize campaign results.
  • Social Media & Content Creation: Maintain the social media content calendar and create content supporting promotions, observance days, events, and organizational initiatives.
  • Social Media & Content Creation: Create and edit long-form video content for YouTube and websites.
  • Social Media & Content Creation: Manage and maintain the organization's video and photo libraries, ensuring digital assets are properly organized, accessible, and up to date for marketing and communications use.
  • Graphic Design & Campaign Deployment: Design and produce marketing materials that support thrift store sales, new store openings, and organizational objectives while upholding brand standards across print and digital platforms.

Requirements

  • Strong graphic design, visual communication, and content creation skills with experience developing digital and print marketing materials.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, video editing software, and other creative tools used for marketing and social media.
  • Strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to maintain a consistent brand voice across multiple channels.
  • Experience managing social media platforms, content calendars, community engagement, and marketing campaigns.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms, analytics, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to adapt to feedback and changing priorities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • English fluency is a must. Spanish fluency is a plus.
