Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Write compelling marketing copy (social posts, email campaigns, landing page copy, promotional materials, marketing video scripts)
  • Write ministry-focused, encouraging content in a warm, direct, and genuine tone
  • Write specifically to teachers and administrators, understanding what matters most to them
  • Adapt tone depending on context (sales vs. encouragement vs. informational)
  • Develop and publish content that speaks directly to educators and administrators
  • Engage with followers and aligned accounts
  • Track engagement and assist in monitoring performance
  • Coordinate the email campaign process from drafting to distribution
  • Write or edit copy for email campaigns
  • Help build and maintain email lists within the email marketing platform

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 1+ years professional experience or a college degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • A basic understanding of marketing strategies, language, and advertisement design principles
  • Strong writing skills (marketing copy and audience-specific messaging)
  • Excellent grammar, clarity, and attention to detail
  • Comfortable learning and navigating digital platforms
  • Willingness to understand the purpose behind marketing initiatives and execute tasks accordingly
  • Friendly, outgoing, and confident speaking with partners
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to be flexible and pivot quickly when new priorities arise

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Experience in marketing, communications, or related field beyond minimum
