Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary marketing and communications liaison between departments, delivering tailored marketing strategies to support fundraising, events, and outreach.
  • Lead integrated campaigns across digital, social, print, and media channels with consistent messaging.
  • Oversee content creation for digital and print to meet programmatic and campaign objectives and increase brand awareness.
  • Monitor and report on marketing effectiveness with data-driven insights to improve future campaigns.
  • Lead internal meetings and collaborate with production, digital, and creative teams; build relationships with Federation leaders and partners.
  • Manage project budgets and align spend with strategic priorities.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing, advertising or public relations with a strong project management background.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Writing/Public Relations or related field, or comparable work experience.
  • Strong people skills and ability to work with diverse personalities.
  • Experience with and commitment to the Jewish community preferred, with knowledge of Jewish history, tradition and current events.
  • Understanding of creative and production processes; working knowledge of design for print and electronic applications.
  • Proven ability to oversee projects from concept to final production.
  • Audience demographics/psychographics understanding to tailor approaches.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient in AP style; CRM and marketing analytics familiarity (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment; experience with lay leadership or volunteer organizations is a plus.

Nice To Have

  • Familiarity with the Philadelphia Jewish community or Jewish communal organizations.
  • Experience in fundraising or donor-centric communications.
  • Certifications in marketing tools or project management (e.g., HubSpot, PMP).
