Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and execution of The Rinks Marketing Plan as well as help develop specific campaigns around programs, events, and/or initiatives
  • Work with Ducks, Gulls, and Honda Center Marketing on cross promotional marketing and ticketing opportunities
  • Serve as Marketing liaison for sponsorships within The Rinks and Great park Ice facilities and programs
  • Coordinate community events designed to increase exposure of The Rinks, Ducks and Gulls and increase participation in public skating, First Strides and Hockey Development programs
  • Support event collateral and promotional items including inventory and ordering
  • Oversee incoming marketing requests and work closely with the graphics team on production and distribution of marketing collateral
  • Coordinate marketing and public relations efforts to community relations events held at The Rinks
  • Assist with onsite execution of The Rinks programs/initiatives, including but not limited to Youth and Adult Hockey Development programs, Hockey is for Everyone programs, and special events
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field preferred; equivalent experience or ongoing degree completion considered
  • Knowledge of hockey and basic playing/skating skill is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays as required
  • Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience Required – 0-1 Years
